The first floor can be used not only as a theater, but also as a place of exchange for the community, where various art works can be exhibited, as a meeting space, as an event venue, and as a place for all kinds of creative activities.
The second floor can be used mainly as a rehearsal space or waiting room. The soundproof mats and mirrors on the entire floor allow you to concentrate on your creative work. Please contact us if you would like to use the room for other purposes.
The third floor is dormitory style accommodation. It is equipped with clean and comfortable beds and a comfortable lounge with a kitchen. It is open to everyone, not only artists but also those who just want to stay overnight.
Wakaba-cho Wharf is a private art center that combines a theater, studio, and lodging in a small 60-year-old renovated building located in downtown Yokohama, between the busy Isezaki-cho shopping district and the Oooka River.
